El Decembero

By December 1st we were moved into my parents house. I know a lot of people would not like to move back home but I know I can say that being home for 3 weeks was a wonderful blessing! I wouldn't want to move back in for a long time but for those weeks I was so grateful for my wonderful parents who took us in and helped us out. We have been so incredibly blessed these past few months it is awesome!
I am so thankful for what every one helped us out with! We had so much fun at my parents. We got to help set up the tree, we got to spend a lot of extra time with my family before we moved away, we got meals and we made gingerbread houses!
After all the fun and games were over, we drove to Utah! (I've left out so many details leading up to this point but just know that literally up until we prayed to leave, this was going to be the most stressful drive of my life! Kyle ended up being able to drive the whole way!
We did stay in Vegas over night. The Hubster knows several families there from his mission and there is a very kind family there that let us stay the night with them. We hung out with their adorable kids, ate some pizza, watched some T.V. and played Mexican Train! We will definitely stay there again when we get the chance.
Saturday afternoon we arrived in Orem at our apartment. We met with our boss and saw our (super huge ginormous) apartment for the first time. I will just say that compared to our 350 sq foot apartment in Mesa, this 900 sq foot apartment is incredible.
I will start with this:
Kyle put his candle on the warmer and apparently it cracked in the move. So we woke up to a wonderful smelling house and a messy counter...
The next picture is of the fruit basket that our boss gave us. It was so sweet of him!
Here is our disco ball that we got from our wedding!
This is my Christmas wall.
These are decorations on top of our computer desk
These are Kyle's great grandma's decorations. She passed away in July and we were able to take them! Aren't they gorgeous?!
Christmas tree, stalkings and presents!

We absolutely LOVE this apartment. This is our third apartment since we've been married and I can say that this is the first time I have felt like I am home.
We have been so blessed on the road to getting here and we really really really appreciate everything that people have done for us to get us here! We still have a few steps to go but I know the Lord has gotten us here and we are so grateful for that!
More updates to come!!

A Break Out!

In October, this was our plan: Wait for 6 months to a year for Kyle to have his Associate Degree in Science from MCC. Apply for BYU showing that he had said degree. Get in to BYU and then move to Utah. Plans before this one had included moving to Utah now but those plans had not ended up working out.
One day in November (maybe last couple days in Oct) I received a call from my dear aunt. She wanted to see if me and Kyle were still planning on moving to Utah in January. I said "Not really, but I think it might depend on what you are about to tell me!" She said that there were some apartments in Orem that were looking for live in managers. She said she knew the owners son and thought it would be a really great opportunity to help us get through school.
So we weighed our options, made a pros and cons list, prayed, applied for the job, prayed, had a couple of interviews over the phone, prayed some more, and spent five VERY looong and stressful days waiting and waiting to hear if we got the position!
We did!
After celebrating a lot for this break out of AZ heat we began making plans to move because we needed to be there to Utah by December 18th (and it would have been sooner if we didn't need to finish our semester of school). We finished out November in our teeny tiny apt and then spent thanksgiving weekend packing and then moved ourselves in to my parents home.
At some point in November we went out to the desert. This is a family favorite activity and here are a few pictures from our adventure:

Wingardium Leviosa

Boy oh boy has it been a looooooooong time since I've been on here!
We last left off on nothing of importance really... things have been changing so much and very quickly.
Lets start off in July...
July: I quit my job of three years at Ready Auto Transport and what a blessing that has been! I was so unhappy there and it has been wonderful to be free of a full time job.
I was wanting to go back to school and was able to do just that! After a week long vacation with the hubsters family in California we came back home to start school.
August: I took a few classes including Child Development. I loved the class and just really want to be pregnant... one can dream right? Well aside from school I started to babysit for a friend (she was my sisters friend first but now we are friends too). Anyway she has two adorable kids and I was so so blessed to be a part of that families life! I learned so much from her about being a mother. I got to play dress up every day, I was constantly bringing home artwork for the hubster. I was able to relive some of my favorite childhood shows and make believe games. And best of all those two sweet kids made me smile and laugh and enjoy life!
September: I was into a lot of crafting kind of stuff! I had recently discovered Pinterest and wanted to make everything project, craft or food that I could! I believe that I posted about a few of those things here and here.
October: Well October was exciting! I spent several Saturdays sewing and watching m first baseball games and actually enjoying it a little! It might have been because the hubsters favorite team made it to the  World Series, or because it was so fun seeing him get excited about it, or because his team (I guess they are mine too) WON the world series! whatever it was though, it was exciting.
So here are pictures of our costumes... I spent probably 14 hours on these... mostly on Kyle's though. I think mine took 3 hours. We were Dumbledore and McGonagall.
This first one is me trying on Kyles wig

This is me and Kyle's pumpkin
This was just a cool one that we saw at the party we went to
I didn't have enough energy to try and find a witch hat. But I was more excited about Kyle looking like Dumbledore than me like McGonagall
Angela, Kyle and I at our Halloween party! We looked so good!

I will update November and December in another post... I have so much to talk about for those months!
